Working with Yang Financial Services
Do you only prepare tax returns?
No. Yang Financial Services prepares tax returns, but the focus is on understanding each client's situation and planning ahead. The goal is to make tax preparation the result of good planning during the year rather than the entire strategy, so clients know what to expect before tax season.
How much do your services cost?
The cost at Yang Financial Services depends on each client's situation and the services needed. We do not believe clients should pay for services they do not need, so the first step is a free consultation to understand what help makes sense for you.
Is the consultation free?
Yes. The initial consultation with Yang Financial Services is free. It is used to understand your situation, answer your first questions, and decide together whether the firm is a good fit. If we are not the right fit, we will point you in the right direction.
Do you work with real estate agents?
Yes. Real estate agents are a major focus of Yang Financial Services, particularly independent 1099 agents, established and high-producing agents, team leaders, and agents with growing commission income. Common topics include estimated taxes, business structure, mileage, marketing costs, retirement planning, and cash flow between commission checks.
I already have a CPA. Why would I need you?
Having a CPA generally means your tax returns can be prepared and filed. The question is whether you are also receiving proactive planning throughout the year. Yang Financial Services focuses on helping clients understand what they can do before tax season arrives, and then putting those strategies into action.
Can you guarantee tax savings?
No. Yang Financial Services cannot guarantee tax savings, because results depend on the facts, the applicable tax law, and the strategies that are appropriate for each client. The goal is to identify legal opportunities that may reduce your tax liability and to implement them properly.
Do you provide payroll services?
No. Yang Financial Services does not offer payroll services. The firm focuses on tax planning, tax resolution, financial planning, tax preparation, and accounting and bookkeeping, so if you need payroll processing, a dedicated payroll provider can handle it alongside the firm.
Do I need to have my books perfectly organized before contacting you?
No. Many business owners contact Yang Financial Services because their financial information is not organized. Part of the process is determining what needs to be cleaned up and what bookkeeping system should be put in place, so you do not need everything in order before the first conversation.
Tax Planning
Isn't tax planning just finding deductions?
No. At Yang Financial Services, deductions are only one part of tax planning. Good planning also looks at income, business structure, retirement planning, timing, expenses, and other legal strategies that may affect your overall tax position, and then builds a plan to put the right ones into action.
Do I have to wait until the end of the year?
No. In fact, waiting can remove opportunities. The earlier Yang Financial Services understands your expected income and situation, the more time there may be to take appropriate action, such as adjusting estimated tax payments or retirement contributions before the year closes.
Tax Resolution
Can you make my IRS debt disappear?
No one should promise that. At Yang Financial Services, the available options depend on the facts, your financial situation, the taxes owed, your filing history, and IRS rules. The first step is to understand exactly what is owed and which resolution options may be available to you.
Should I ignore an IRS notice until I can afford to pay?
No. Ignoring an IRS notice can make the situation worse, because interest, penalties and deadlines keep moving. Yang Financial Services recommends understanding the notice and your available options as soon as possible, even if you cannot pay the full amount right away.
Financial Planning
Why combine tax planning and financial planning?
Taxes affect how much money you keep, save, and have available for future goals. Yang Financial Services looks at tax planning and financial planning together, so you can make decisions with the full financial picture in mind instead of handling each one separately.
Do I need to be wealthy to use financial planning?
No. At Yang Financial Services, financial planning is about making good decisions with the resources you have and creating a plan for where you want to go. It connects your business income, tax strategy, retirement savings, and long-term goals, whatever stage you are at.
Let's Figure Out What Makes Sense for You.
The first conversation is about understanding your situation. If we believe we can help, we will explain how. If we are not the right fit, we will point you in the right direction.
